flotsam books is a Tokyo-based bookstore specializing in visual books on fashion, photography, art, and design.
Our selection includes imported titles as well as publications that reflect diverse perspectives and forms of expression.
From classic photobooks to self-published zines and collectible limited editions, we aim to introduce books that spark imagination and create connections.
In addition to running our bookstore, we organize pop-up events, zine fairs, and collaborative projects with artists and publishers.
We aspire to be a “bookstore in everyone’s heart.” Guided by sincerity, honesty, and a smile, we keep things unpretentious — a slightly rough-around-the-edges, free-spirited bookstore that doesn’t deal in life’s necessities, but in discoveries.

ファッション、写真、アート、デザインなどのヴィジュアルブックを、海外からの輸入書を含め、多様な視点や表現を反映したセレクションでご紹介しています。
定番写真集から自費出版のZINE、コレクタブルな限定本まで、読む人の想像を刺激し、つながりを生むような一冊をお届けします。
店舗での販売に加え、ポップアップイベントやジンフェア、アーティストや出版社とのコラボレーション企画も実施しています。
